A Growing On-Campus Footprint

The University of Queensland is expanding its on-campus accommodation options—increasing the total capacity to more than 4,500 places at St Lucia through its owned residences and affiliated colleges, up from smaller numbers following the opening of Kev Carmody House in 2022 The University of Queensland.

This growth reflects UQ’s effort to meet the rising demand for safe, affordable student housing and will more than double the number of UQ-owned spots available by 2027.

Accommodation Options at UQ
